WANTED DEAD
OR ALIVE!!!

CHRISTOPHER LARGEN
is a hyperactive renegade and internationally published
writer whose works have appeared in The Village Voice,
High Times, The Nashville Scene, Cannabis
Culture, Compleat Mother, Whole Life Times,
Ft. Worth Weekly, Swans, Eat the State,
and dozens of other publications. He is the co-author of
Prescription Pot: A Leading Advocate’s Heroic
Battle to Legalize Medical Marijuana (New Horizon Press,
2003), which chronicles the true life and times of George
McMahon, one of only seven individuals who receive legal
medical cannabis from the United States Government’s
Investigational New Drug program.
Before becoming a
professional writer, Christopher engaged in esoteric pursuits
like taunting Ku Klux Klansmen, snoozing under bridges,
challenging the two-party system, obsessing about life and
death, and providing care for disabled people. Mr. Largen
is an accomplished speaker, and has appeared at universities
and festivals throughout the country.
Christopher currently
resides in Denton, a small Texas arts community with a well-deserved
reputation for embracing self-exiled eccentrics, and is
the founder of Building
Block, an organization dedicated to confronting and
eliminating sexual abuse of children.
Christopher Largen
denies all use of junk food, though recent hidden-camera
photos have captured him popping gumdrops. He claims that
he exercises regularly, but federal authorities have not
yet confirmed this. He is known to use many aliases, but
his favorite seems to be “Classic Iconoclast”.
If you encounter Mr.
Largen, please do not try to apprehend him, as he may be
armed with sizeable quantities of fried peanut butter and
banana sandwiches.
JUNK is Christopher’s
second book and first novel.
